Thomson is a planner and designer committed to building equitable transportation and inclusive stakeholder engagement strategies.

He joined Estolano Advisors in 2020 and supports projects related to transportation, housing, and stakeholder facilitation. Before joining EA, he worked with Here LA leading projects to improve multi-modal safety and build equitable public outreach processes. Of note, he authored a widely disseminated stakeholder engagement toolkit and communications guide for the SCAG Regional Climate Adaptation Framework. This project won the 2020 Public Outreach Excellence Award from the APA California chapter.

Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Thomson received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute Chicago and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA. He loves tending to his plant collection, playing soccer, and exploring new hikes.
