Sasha Ragland focuses on projects in Los Angeles and southern California that work to improve the equitable distribution of green space, improve climate resilience and water conservation, and center public health needs of underserved communities.

Since joining Estolano Advisors (EA) in the summer of 2023, Sasha has led funding research work for the LA County Parks Needs Assessment Plus, helped to write the Strategic Plan for the Department of Public Health Office of Environmental Justice and Climate Health, and has undertaken a landscape scan of water challenges in Southern California to help advise SCAG on ways they can support sustainable water usage throughout the region. Sasha has honed her skills in research and data analysis, interviewing and engagement, and writing.

Prior to joining EA Sasha worked at MIG as a project associate and began her professional journey working on parks related projects and sustainability plans. Sasha gained great experience in data analysis and community engagement work at MIG.

Sasha received her Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs in 2021 and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Connecticut College 2016.
