Ginny Browne leads EA’s Bay Area practice.


She brings 15 years of experience as a facilitator, organizer, researcher, and trainer, dedicated to amplifying the voices of ordinary people, especially those most affected by systemic injustice, in the decisions and institutions that affect their lives. At EA, Ginny leads projects focused on equitable economic and workforce development, community-driven planning, and organizational change for public sector, philanthropic, and nonprofit clients.

Prior to EA, Ginny spent nine years at the Participatory Budgeting Project working with government agencies and grassroots organizations across the U.S. to launch and run equitable, democratic processes that give communities direct decision-making power over public funds. She has led trainings, workshops, and presentations for over 4,000 policymakers, government staff, grassroots organizers, teachers, students, and community leaders, on topics including designing for equity and inclusion in community engagement, group facilitation, community asset mapping, and participatory process design. Ginny received a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree at the University of California, Los Angeles with a focus on Community Development and Housing.
